Spirit

Introduced: 2020

Purpose / Inspiration: The Spirit Collection is Longines’ modern salute to its aviation heritage—pulling design cues from watches worn by pioneering aviators like Amelia Earhart and Howard Hughes, but updating them for today’s tool watch crowd. Think pilot watch functionality with everyday elegance, housed in a robust case with COSC-certified movements. It’s Longines doing heritage without going full vintage—and doing it well.

Why it matters: The Spirit Collection proves that heritage can be done without pretending it’s 1935. These are real pilot watches, not costumes—and they’re accurate, wearable, and built like tanks. Longines brought the past into the present and didn’t mess it up.
