Legend Diver

Introduced: 2007 (modern reissue)
Based on: Original Longines Super Compressor Diver from 1960

Purpose / Inspiration: The Legend Diver is a faithful reissue of Longines’ iconic Super Compressor dive watch—a model made during the golden age of mechanical dive tools. With its twin crown design, internal rotating bezel, and no-nonsense dial, the Legend Diver is equal parts heritage piece and fully capable dive watch. Unlike many vintage-styled divers, this one is based on a real in-house archive piece, and that authenticity comes through.

Designer: Recreated by the Longines Heritage team using blueprints and samples from the original 1960 reference 7042
