Happy Spirit

Introduced: Early 2000s (relaunched periodically with updated designs)

Purpose / Inspiration: The Happy Spirit collection was born from the success of Happy Diamonds, but reimagined with a stronger emphasis on symbolic design. Concentric circles—representing ripples, eternity, or layered energy—form the visual core of the watch, with free-moving diamonds gliding between crystal layers. It’s a spiritual evolution of the Happy line: still playful, but more serene and architectural.

Designer: Created by Chopard’s in-house jewelry design team as an extension of the Happy Diamonds legacy with deeper symbolic motifs and a stronger sculptural presence

Case size: Typically ~36mm–39mm (medium to large for a jewelry watch)

Case options: 18k white or rose gold, often with diamond-set bezels and layered precious metal rings

Powered by:

  • Swiss quartz movement (ETA-based)
  • Rare mechanical versions exist in haute joaillerie formats

Bezel: Round bezel integrated into the concentric ring design—usually polished or pavé-set with diamonds

Dial options: Minimalist inner dial—mother-of-pearl, silver, or lacquer—surrounded by concentric metal circles with free-moving diamonds between two sapphire crystals

Water resistance: 30m

Bracelet: Satin strap or integrated jewelry bracelet in full gold; some high jewelry editions feature gem-set bracelets

Still in production, primarily as part of Chopard’s women’s haute joaillerie watch collection

Why it stands out: Happy Spirit is more than a watch—it’s wearable art. With its flowing geometry and symbolic motion, it’s designed not just to tell time, but to express energy, calm, and presence. The diamonds don’t just float—they orbit.

Circles of Joy: Time moves, diamonds orbit, energy flows

Jewelry with Intention: More than sparkle—every ring tells a story

Happy by Name, Serene by Nature: Playful, yes—but also peaceful

A Watch That Breathes With You: Not loud, not stiff—just beautiful in motion
