Conquest

Introduced: 1954 (original), with continuous evolution into a modern sport line

Purpose / Inspiration: The Conquest was launched as Longines’ flagship everyday sports watch—a rugged yet refined timepiece meant to bridge functionality and elegance. The original was waterproof, anti-magnetic, and shock-resistant—a mid-century tool with a dressy face. In modern times, the Conquest evolved into a bold, athletic collection with chronographs, GMTs, and even ultra-precise quartz variants (V.H.P.).

Designer: Originally developed by Longines’ internal design team in Saint-Imier as the first named collection; modern Conquests redesigned in the 2000s and 2010s to compete in the luxury sport segment
