Avenger

Introduced: 2001

Purpose / Inspiration: Designed as a military-grade evolution of Breitling’s tool watches, the Avenger was built for extreme durability, legibility, and toughness. It’s the watch for special ops, fighter pilots, and adrenaline junkies—engineered to take a beating and keep ticking.

Designer: Created by Breitling’s in-house team under the Aeromarine family, during the Schneider era. Refined and expanded under Georges Kern post-2017 with modern updates and cleaner lines.

Materials & Features:

  • Offered in stainless steel, titanium, and Breitlight® (proprietary carbon composite).
  • Available in automatic and quartz chronographs, GMT, and three-hand formats.
  • Features include screw-down crown, rider tab bezels, anti-reflective sapphire, 300m–3000m water resistance, and COSC-certified movements.
  • Sizes range from 43mm to 48mm—pure wrist presence.

Discontinuation Status: Still in production, fully modernized and split into lines like Avenger Automatic, Avenger Chronograph, and Avenger B01 (in-house movement).

Tough as It Looks: Built like a weapon, wears like armor.

Mission-Ready: No fluff—just chronometer-grade performance in a case you could throw at a wall.

The Operator’s Watch: Made for hard landings, fast dives, and cold calculations.

Battle-Tested Design: Every detail has a job—and it’s not decoration.
