Link

Introduced: 1987 (as the S/el, short for “Sport/Elegance”) — rebranded as the Link in 1999

Purpose / Inspiration:
The Link was designed for one thing above all: comfort. It took the rugged DNA of TAG’s sports watches and dressed it up for the office, boardroom, and beyond. It’s not a tool watch, and it’s not pretending to be one—it’s the one you wear when you want to look sharp and feel even better. The signature “double S” bracelet wasn’t just a design flex—it was a technical achievement in ergonomics, built to flow naturally with the wrist. The Link is where sport meets style with zero compromise.

Designer:
Eddy Burgener—renowned for industrial design—created the iconic S-shaped bracelet links, turning a functional element into a design signature

Why it matters:
The Link is one of the most distinct designs TAG has ever made—and one of the most comfortable watches you’ll ever wear. It’s not chasing trends or trying to look vintage. It’s modern, smooth, and unapologetically different. If you want something sharp, subtle, and stylish with real Swiss build quality, this is your sleeper pick. The Link doesn’t shout. It just fits.
