Introduced: 2010
Purpose / Inspiration: Breitling launched the Galactic collection as a line of sleek, simplified, non-chronograph watches aimed at professionals who wanted Breitling’s tool-watch identity—without the bulk or complication of a chronograph. It was built for daily wear, office-to-outdoor versatility, and to appeal to men and women alike with a range of case sizes and dial styles.
Designer: Created under Ernest Schneider, then refined during Georges Kern’s early tenure, the Galactic served as an entry into the brand’s “elegant performance” segment.
